PocoLingo — Terms of Use

Agreement

By downloading or using PocoLingo you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which applies in addition. Operator: Ugur Zenk, support@pocolingo.app. Last updated: 2026-10-21.

The service

PocoLingo helps you learn vocabulary in German, English and Spanish with word cards, spaced review, audio, conjugation tables and an AI conversation partner. Features and limits may change over time.

Premium subscriptions

  • PocoLingo Premium is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and is charged.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple according to its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).

Free version and ads

The free version has daily limits and shows ads. Rewarded ads can unlock extra words within daily caps.

AI-generated content

Translations, examples, corrections, conjugations and chat replies are generated partly by AI and may contain errors. PocoLingo is a learning aid, not a certified translation or professional advice. Do not enter sensitive personal information in the AI chat.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to bypass limits or purchases, reverse engineer servers, automate requests, or use the AI chat for unlawful, harmful or abusive content.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, word lists and content are protected. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app under the Apple EULA. Words and texts you add remain yours.

Liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages or data loss. Mandatory statutory rights (e.g. for intent, gross negligence or injury to life and health, and consumer rights) remain unaffected.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app. You may stop using the app at any time and delete your data in Settings.

Law

The law of your country of residence applies where mandatory consumer protection requires it; otherwise German law applies.
